Oil Marketing

Kaztradeneft is a global supplier of petroleum products, natural gas, and crude oil. It ensures that supply is distributed fairly to meet market demand. Transportation costs are lowered by the company’s facilities and pipelines for transshipping petroleum products and crude oil. In order to sell petroleum products on both domestic and international markets, Kaztradeneft has put in place a robust infrastructure and marketing strategy. By 2022, Kaztradeneft will export 1.3 million tons of petroleum products. (In comparison, 2023 is anticipated to see 2.2 million tons). By delivering premium fuel oil produced at the refinery in separate quantities to ports on the Baltic and Black Seas in 2021, the company effectively expanded its market.

The company keeps an eye on the profitability of oil monetization channels in an effort to boost the share of high-margin channels in the overall sales structure. In 2022, the company expects to supply roughly 1.2 million tons of oil to its own operations in Kazakhstan, a 15% increase over 2022. (Based on supplies to refineries as of October 2022). The acquisition in 2022 was the primary reason for the increase in supply volumes. In 2022, the Corporation supplied 1.1 million tons of its own oil to factories that held stock in the company, a 3% increase over the previous year.

It is projected that oil exports to both nearby and distant countries will exceed 2.8 million tons in 2022. Out of all the oil export routes, the eastern one is the most profitable for the company because it includes sales in the ports of Kozmino and De Kastri and supplies via pipeline to China. The total amount of supplies to the East in 2023 was 7.7 million tons, a 10.7% increase over the previous year. In addition, the business shipped 65.7 million tons of oil to far-off regions in Europe, including the Mediterranean, Northern, Central, and Eastern Europe. Exports to the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) totaled eight million tons
